Dear readers,
As was announced at the Annual Press Conference and when the financial statements for fiscal 2020/2021 were published, KWS heralded in the handover to the next generation on its Executive and Supervisory Boards at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on December 2. That move will take place in several steps and will help ensure continuity, preserve the company’s character as a family business, and inject new expertise. As part of these changes, Felix Büchting will take over Research and Development from Léon Broers, who is leaving the Executive Board after 15 years. You can read an interview with both of them about the handover.
In the fall issue of insideKWS, we reported on KWS’ Sustainability Ambition 2030 and presented the goals we want to achieve. Many colleagues from a wide range of different areas are already making their own, very concrete contributions to that. In this issue, four of them explain what projects they are working on and how these feed into our sustainability goals.
