Coronavirus is the dominant issue of the moment. Its spread has caused severe constraints in all areas of life. Every one of us can help curb the number of infections with the right behavior. Special rules of conduct are also in force at our company, and dealing with coronavirus poses challenges, both at work and in our private lives. We therefore ask you to visit the KWS intranet regularly to see the latest information on how to protect yourself, your family and all colleagues. Please also look out for the updates we’ll regularly send by e-mail. Familiarize yourself with the measures and comply with them strictly.

In spite of everything, we look to the future with optimism: KWS’ business continues, and production in China has now been ramped up again after having been halted for a time. The topics in insideKWS therefore have a forward-looking character. Direct sales of sugarbeet seed, for example. Farmers not only benefit from digital services such as the Beet Seed Service, but can now also order seed online – thanks to an amendment to the industry agreement with Nordzucker.

KWS’ branch office in Berlin was officially opened on February 14. Around 250 colleagues at KWS Berlin GmbH moved from the provisional offices at Leipziger Platz and Stresemannstraße to Bülowstraße, as you can read in our report on this important step for the ONEGLOBE organization.
