With a revised newsletter and the GLOBE User Library – a new page on the intranet with answers to numerous relevant questions – the use of administrative services and communication with colleagues will be enhanced and strengthened.

Makeover of GLOBE News

With GLOBE News, we regularly provide employees with information about administrative services – but in recent months and through connecting with different colleagues around the world, we have realized that not everyone in KWS is reading this newsletter. That’s why we decided to work on improving it.

In particular, that is because in this newsletter we share important information and needs regarding operational services, reminders of best practices and essential dates about service delivery, both for employees and the administrative organization.

Therefore, our goal is to inform every single person at KWS.

For our new transformation we have implemented:

  • Intro / Summary: The first part of the newsletter contains a brief but comprehensive summary of the newsletter topics. Within seconds, you will be able to grasp what is important and interesting.
  • Translation functionality: In the initial section of the newsletter, you'll find various language options. Simply click on your preferred language and start reading.
  • News page on the intranet: You can easily find the latest news on our intranet. Find us by navigating to the intranet.
  • Trainings: In the last section of the newsletter, there is a list of recommended or new training opportunities available through SuccessFactors Learning. This feature will provide tools and resources to make yourself grow!
  • Video version (trial): For those who prefer to listen to or watch the news, this new addition, which we are offering on a trial basis, gives the newsletter a modern and time-saving touch.
  • Print version: We also want to support colleagues who do not have digital access. A printout of GLOBE News will be sent in advance to GLOBE Multipliers who will hang it in open places where we have colleagues without digital access.

By working on shaping this newsletter, we hope that we can stay connected by informing employees of the latest news that impacts service delivery. |

GLOBE User Library

Manuals, videos and helpful articles at a glance

Those who feel frustrated when searching for tutorials or manuals in the Intranet often wonder how and where to quickly find what they need. They may find themselves waiting a long time for answers that are actually available online. In such cases, it is recommended to save this new solution in your browser bookmarks.

We are introducing the GLOBE User Library (GUL), a central repository for learning materials that connects directly to numerous administrative systems.

GLOBE User Library is designed to access tutorials, manuals, videos and training materials, and to navigate employees through administrative services and processes. The library is updated regularly, and new content will be added to support everyone who is using administrative systems and services.

The GLOBE User Library starts with an overview of various topics such as the Ticketing System, Travel Management or our training platform SuccessFactors Learning. Each subpage is structured in the same way. Here’s the example of SuccessFactors Learning.

How does the GLOBE User Library help?

  • We consolidate all training materials in a central storage point to save time and increase efficiency.
  • We are placing links in the administrative systems to access the content in the GLOBE User Library quickly. Click the GLOBE User Library link to get instant access to relevant information without having to search or wait for answers. In case we are not able to place a link we will be looking for alternatives.
  • We are translating training material upfront and will navigate you to the folder where training material can be found in the preferred language.
