Employee representation on the Supervisory Board

Christine Coenen and Eric Gombert have been elected

Elections for the employee representatives on the Supervisory Board of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA were held in July. A total of 2,336 valid votes were cast. For the first time in KWS’ history, an employee from Germany as well as a person from another EU member state were to be elected as representatives. Christine Coenen received the most votes as the representative from Germany and Eric Gombert as the representative from an EU country other than Germany.

The two elected representatives have the following to say: “We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our voters and thank them for their trust. Our colleagues’ interests are very dear to our heart. Ensuring they are heeded in commercial decisions is a very responsible duty and one that’s a pleasure to discharge. Especially in times of change, it’s important to represent and spell out the workforce’s standpoint; that is what drives and motivates us to serve our colleagues. We will contribute a combined 51 years of experience at KWS to the work of the Supervisory Board and actively shape our future in the interests of KWS’ employees.” |
