Greater participation, stable index

Far more employees took part in our second Employee Engagement Survey than in the previous year. The engagement index remains stable and is a solid basis for further improvements.

From 66 to 75 percent: Participation in our Employee Engagement Survey shows a sharp increase. “I’m particularly pleased that 50 percent of the employees invited by letter took part – because the results consequently reflect an even broader range of opinions,” says Melanie Eisinger, Head of Global HR.

The engagement index is 75 percent and thus stable compared to the previous year. This means that three-quarters of participants have a positive and motivated attitude towards their work and the company. The figure demonstrates a high level of engagement and satisfaction.

A particularly positive signal: The figure for the statement “I believe KWS has a successful future” rose from 79 to 88 percent. At the same time, the results show a need to take action in relation to communication, feedback, processes and personal development.

What happens next?

Team meetings will follow in the coming months, at which results will be discussed together and translated into concrete measures. Useful materials for that are available on the intranet. A new feature this year is the possibility of submitting and evaluating ideas anonymously in the survey results dashboard. Suitable alternatives are available for colleagues who do not have permanent access to a computer. The comments left by participants when completing the Employee Engagement Survey are also a help in coming up with ideas and planning actions:

“A total of more than 4,000 comments provide us, managers and the teams with valuable stimuli for the further process. I would like to express my big thanks to my colleagues for them,” said Melanie Eisinger.

The results of the survey on KWS as a whole can be found on the intranet. All employees are warmly invited to view the results and participate in the dialogue on them. |
