Consulting platform

myKWS

Service for our seed

Our digital consulting offering, myKWS, is constantly evolving and expanding its reach. The service impresses with its design and more.

A noteworthy success: A few weeks ago, the number of registered accounts on myKWS passed the 100,000 mark. This means we can enhance our digital outreach to that many farmers and better place our information relating to the cultivation year, including through all other communication channels. Even if farmers just register, we gain knowledge about their farm and can offer our consulting services in a more targeted manner, right down to a sub-plot on the individual field. As part of that, we respond to the preferences of users and strengthen the fast digital communication channels (e-mail, WhatsApp, SMS, notifications). Our goal is for farmers to have the right information at hand at the time they need to make a decision. Thanks to the new “Discovery” mode in the myKWS mobile app, users are now able to obtain a preview of the added value in myKWS before logging in.

Milestone: 100,000 registrations for myKWS

Further milestones: new tools soon ready for the market

Another milestone in our digital consulting is the first tools which have been developed as part of Connected Seeds and will soon be ready for the market. Data from our own trials and analytical expertise from our research and development enable us to make tailored recommendations on our varieties for customers. One of these services is the Drone Image Analyzer (see the interview on the next page). We have already tested other digital services for our sugarbeet varieties in international pilot phases this year. Farmers can thus get the most out of our genetics: with our field-specific information for the application of CONVISO ONE or dealing with Cercospora in fields with our CR+ genetics. The myKWS app also helped the pilot testers to identify the most important leaf diseases in their sugarbeet with an automatic analysis.

The aim for the coming season is to continue offering effective and specific consulting to all future customers. From regular information by e-mail and a clear presentation in the dashboard to variety- and field-specific recommendations, KWS provides farmers with digital support in the form of myKWS.

myKWS won the iF Design Award 2024.

Award-winning: the myKWS dashboard

A further visual enhancement of myKWS is the new dashboard, which is currently being rolled out gradually to other countries. myKWS can now be tailored individually to a country’s offering and always display the right content for the specific season, farm and field. myKWS won both the iF Design Award 2024 and the Green Good Design Award – testimony to the fact that we are on the right track with this further development. |
