Sales Academy
New offerings for Sales
The KWS Sales Academy is the place where our colleagues from the Sales teams in all markets can brush up and expand their knowledge. New training courses and ideas are currently being implemented.
Anyone starting out in Sales at KWS knows that the wealth of important information, instructions and materials can sometimes be overwhelming. For someone looking for a good overview, tutorials and up-to-date training formats, the Sales Academy is the right place to go.
As the interface between Marketing and Sales, this digital platform is accessible to colleagues at all Business Units worldwide. It consists of four overarching modules – Sales Knowledge, Marketing, Product Knowledge, and Organization – with different types of training. Here you can find self-learning online formats such as tutorials, instructor-led training, or seminars on topics such as rhetoric and talks with customers. That enables everyone to prepare optimally for their everyday sales work.
And the world of the Sales Academy is not standing still: The Expert Hub Brand Management, in which the Sales Academy is embedded, is in constant dialogue with the Business Units, Human Resources, Global Marketing and our sales partners in the respective countries to find out which programs are desired and where there are suggestions for changes.
New onboarding: Compactly arranged information
One upshot of that is the new onboarding process for Sales. It is intended to act as a compass and give new colleagues a good starting point for their tasks. Information is arranged in a compact and clearly structured manner in the new onboarding system. Further practical functions will also be added by the end of the year. In this way, the Sales Academy continues to develop and at the same time responds to the current wishes of colleagues – a genuine win-win situation
Training in rhetoric and talks with customers is particularly important in Sales. That is why the Sales Academy is currently working on a more in-depth offering focusing on these issues. For example, it will deal with how to get a talk off to a good start and how staffers can hone their powers of persuasion using rhetorical devices. The program is due to be launched in the fall and will gradually be available in eight languages so that even more colleagues can take advantage of it.
Anyone who would like to get creative themselves and develop a special training course for their team or colleagues at KWS can also use the Sales Academy. A comprehensive toolbox, which includes a PowerPoint kit as well as special icons or tips on storytelling, can be used to create highly customized training. If you need any support in that, do not hesitate to contact Sarah Sahl. |
